Manteno extended their winning streak to 11 games thanks to a huge performance from Morgan Derrico. The Panthers came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Peotone Blue Devils with plenty of help from Derrico, who had 24 digs. She has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Manteno had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-19, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Peotone had strong showings from Peyton Bisping, who had 11 digs and three aces, and Ella Stupegia, who had 13 digs and one assist.

Manteno's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Peotone, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.

Manteno wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Streator on the 25th. As for Peotone, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Herscher on the 25th.
