The Rogers Rams will challenge the Tahoma Bears at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Rogers is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Washington's top teams: North Creek, who was ranked 12th at the time (Rogers was ranked seventh). The Rams' pitcher stepped up to hand the Jaguars a 6-0 shutout on Friday.

Sierra Murray (2028) made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Payton Walling (2027) was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Aubree Pollard (2027), who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Tahoma rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the Rams 7-0.
The result came thanks to Alexa Ramirez's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up ten Ks.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kalea Yelle, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Hammington, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Rogers' victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Tahoma, their record now sits at 20-3-1.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Saturday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Rogers has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 11.4 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Tahoma struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 9.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Rogers beat Tahoma 6-2 when the teams last played back in March of 2025. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
