The Santa Fe Chiefs extended their postseason success on Friday against the Arrowhead Christian Eagles. They took down the Eagles 32-14. Winning may never get old, but Santa Fe sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Santa Fe had a senior duo take command as Tariq Bush gained 189 total yards and three touchdowns and Adrian Huguez threw for 183 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Bush was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 67 yards.

Santa Fe's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB seven times. The heavy lifting was done by Dominick Pichardo and Michael Moreno who racked up five sacks between them.

Santa Fe's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.3 points per game. As for Arrowhead Christian, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-3.

Santa Fe will head out on the road to face off against Yucca Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Yucca Valley's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last four matches. Arrowhead Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
