Volleyball Game Preview: Yorkville Christian Mustangs vs. Harvest-Westminster Warrior-Lions

The Yorkville Christian Mustangs will venture away from home to challenge the Harvest-Westminster Warrior-Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Yorkville Christian saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of Galesburg by a score of 2-1. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Harvest-Westminster can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Tuesday. They came out on top against Hiawatha by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Harvest-Westminster was: they took both sets by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-9.

Harvest-Westminster's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Yorkville Christian, they now have a losing record of 13-14-2.

Yorkville Christian beat Harvest-Westminster 2-0 in their previous matchup back in October of 2021. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
