Basketball Game Preview: Dunn Earwigs vs. Cate Rams

The Dunn Earwigs will head out to challenge the Cate Rams at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Dunn is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Wednesday, Dunn came up short against Santa Ynez and fell 58-47.

Meanwhile, Cate unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Wednesday. They were beaten by St. Bonaventure 85-58. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 668th, while the Seraphs are ranked 169th).

Dunn's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Cate, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.

Dunn came up short against Cate in their previous matchup on January 15th, falling 56-51. Can Dunn avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
