Soccer Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln lost against Central Kitsap back in April of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Abes came up short against the Cougars, falling 6-1. That's two games in a row now that Lincoln have lost by exactly five goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Lincoln and nudges their season record down to 1-4. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 4-2 Gig Harbor (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 74% over those games). As for Central Kitsap, their win bumped their record up to 5-0-3.

Looking ahead, Lincoln will square off against Silas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central Kitsap, they will take on Gig Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gig Harbor will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Central Kitsap surely won't give up without a fight.
