Football Game Preview: Hobbton Wildcats vs. West Columbus Vikings + How To Watch

The Hobbton Wildcats will challenge the West Columbus Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Hobbton's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last five games.

Last Monday, Hobbton didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against East Bladen, but they still walked away with a 32-28 victory.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Amir Tate and Jaden Lewis. Tate had a great game and gained 239 total yards. Meanwhile, Lewis was balling out in the loss, picking up 119 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, while also rushing for 100 yards.

Meanwhile, West Columbus played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 49-14 loss at the hands of North Duplin. The Vikings were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Hobbton will need to focus on slowing down DJ Graham, one of several West Columbus players who made an impact when they last played. He threw for 142 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 47 yards. Demond Williams also helped out with an impressive 85 receiving yards.

West Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hobbton, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
