Basketball Recap: First Academy Takes a Loss

First Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Orlando Science on Saturday. The First Academy Eagles fell just short of the Orlando Science Orcas by a score of 39-36. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly three points.

First Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Orlando Science, their win bumped their record up to 6-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. First Academy will head out to challenge East Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Orlando Science, they are taking a road trip to square off against Crooms Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
