Volleyball Recap: Macksville Comes Up Short

Macksville lost against Ingalls back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-9.

Kira Figger paced Macksville's offense, picking up four kills. Figger were helped by Daniela Reyes-Holguin and Anilu Hernandez, who contributed two assists each.

Macksville's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Ingalls, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Macksville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Norwich on the 2nd. As for Ingalls, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against South Central on the 4th.
