Softball Recap: West Valley Takes a Loss

West Valley made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Moses Lake, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Rams fell just short of the Mavericks by a score of 9-7 on Friday. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Mavericks recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

West Valley's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Moses Lake, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Valley will host Wenatchee at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games. As for Moses Lake, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Othello at 5:00 p.m.
