Soccer Recap: Sterling Comes Up Short

Sterling managed to keep up with Liberty Common until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Tigers lost 7-1 to the Eagles. The loss continues a trend for Sterling in their meetings with Liberty Common: they've now lost eight in a row.

Sterling's goal came courtesy of Addamari Ochoa, who's now up to four this season.

Sterling's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-2. As for Liberty Common, the victory got them back to even at 6-6-1.

Sterling wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Frontier Academy on the 1st. As for Liberty Common, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Weld Central on the 1st.
