Baseball Recap: Lutheran Find Success

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Lutheran ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They skirted past the Mexico Bulldogs 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cougars have posted since May 9, 2024.

Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Mexico, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lutheran will welcome Duchesne at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mexico, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fulton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
