Basketball Recap: Clarkston Comes Up Short on the Road Against Lakeside

Clarkston had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 79-56 to the Lakeside Vikings. If the Angoras were looking for revenge after losing 61-37 to the Vikings when the teams met back in December of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lakeside's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aaron Schubert, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 11 boards. Solomon Raggs was another key player, dropping a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds.

Clarkston has already played their next game, a 62-56 loss against Atlanta International on the 11th. As for Lakeside, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 59-48 win against The Weber School on the 13th.
