Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Watervliet). Everything went their way against the Rensselaer Rams on Monday as the Watervliet Cannoneers made off with a 71-46 win. The Cannoneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Watervliet's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Rensselaer, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Watervliet won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Germantown at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rensselaer, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Hudson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
