Stevens Point entered their tilt with Merrill on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Bluejays. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Nora Kruger paced Stevens Point's offense, picking up 15 kills. Kruger got some help from Katie Kornowski and her 30 assists. Kruger was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Despite the loss, Merrill still got an impressive performance from Avery Hoock, who had 15 digs. Hoock is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Gabby Wheeler also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Stevens Point's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Merrill, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
