Recap: White County Warriors vs. Livingston Academy Wildcats

The White County Warriors lost against the Livingston Academy Wildcats back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. White County took a 55-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Livingston Academy. White County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, White County still got an impressive performance from Tripp Pinion, who scored 25 points along with eight rebounds. That was a full 50% of White County's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Sims, who scored seven points along with three steals.

Even though they lost, White County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

White County has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Livingston Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.

White County and Signal Mountain will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Signal Mountain knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight games -- so hopefully White County likes a good challenge. Livingston Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
