Baseball Recap: New Canaan Takes a Loss

New Canaan and Warde squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but New Canaan had to settle for second. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 13-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost five in a row.

New Canaan saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nicolo D'Andrea, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

New Canaan's loss dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Warde, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, New Canaan will venture away from home to take on Notre Dame Prep at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warde, they will challenge Maloney at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
