Clover is a perfect 5-0 against Northwestern since September of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Blue Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Trojans at 6:45 p.m. The timing is sure in Clover's favor as the team sits on eight straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Northwestern has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

On Tuesday, Clover made easy work of Fort Mill and carried off a 3-0 win.

Clover not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Fort Mill between 18 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-20, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Northwestern came up short against Catawba Ridge on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-6, 25-17.

Northwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Clover, their victory bumped their record up to 16-3.

Clover took their win against Northwestern in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Blue Eagles repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
