Dixon and Sterling squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Dixon had to settle for second. They took a 39-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sterling Golden Warriors. The Dukes & Duchesses' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Dixon's defeat dropped their record down to 29-6. As for Sterling, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-5 record this season.

Dixon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sterling, they will take on Washington at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Washington sitting on 12 straight wins and Sterling on ten.
