Volleyball Game Preview: Franklin County Flyers vs. East Jessamine Jaguars

The Franklin County Flyers will face off against the East Jessamine Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Franklin County is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Kentucky's top teams: Western Hills, who was ranked ninth at the time (Franklin County was ranked 12th). The Flyers came up short against the Wolverines on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Flyers in their meetings with the Wolverines: they've now lost three in a row.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-16, 25-15.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when East Jessamine duked it out with Fleming County on Thursday. The Jaguars lost 3-0 to the Panthers.

Franklin County's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for East Jessamine, they dropped their record down to 6-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
