Triton and Overhills are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2023, but not for long. The Triton Hawks will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Overhills Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. Triton is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

Triton will bounce into Friday's game after beating Westover, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Triton put the hurt on Westover with a sharp 69-43 win on Tuesday. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Triton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jamaury Taylor led the charge by going 7-for-17 on his way to 18 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Ro'Mello Pegues, who went 8-for-9 en route to 19 points and five rebounds.

Triton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in February of 2024.

E.E. Smith typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Overhills proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Golden Bulls by a score of 67-57. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jaguars.

Triton pushed their record up to 18-8 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Overhills, their win bumped their record up to 16-9.

Triton was able to grind out a solid victory over Overhills in their previous meeting two weeks ago, winning 45-37. Will Triton repeat their success, or does Overhills have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
