Basketball Recap: Lee's Summit West Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lee's Summit West can now relate to. They lost to the Kickapoo Chiefs on the road by a 64-48 margin on Saturday. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chiefs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2017.

Lee's Summit West's loss dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Kickapoo, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-3.

Lee's Summit West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kickapoo, they will face off against Staley on Wednesday. Staley will roll in looking for their 22nd straight win, something Kickapoo surely won't give up without a fight.
