Soccer Game Preview: South Broward vs. Seminole Ridge

The South Broward Bulldogs will square off against the Seminole Ridge Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

South Broward heads in on the heels of a playoff contest last Monday. They came up short against St. Thomas Aquinas, falling 9-0. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Seminole Ridge had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Tigers 2-1. That's two games straight that the Hawks have won by just one goal.

Roxy Brewer and Naomi Torres scored both of Seminole Ridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 30 goals.

Seminole Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those six games. As for South Broward, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4-1.
