Football Game Preview: Highland Home Flying Squadron vs. Reeltown Rebels + Official Tickets

Highland Home is 0-3 against Reeltown since October of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Flying Squadron will challenge the Rebels at 7:00 p.m. Reeltown took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Highland Home, who comes in off a win.

Highland Home's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Friday. They blew past Calhoun 42-0. The victory continues a trend for the Flying Squadron in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won seven in a row.

Brody Phillips produced another solid performance rushing for 129 yards and four TDs on only seven carries, while also picking up 42 receiving yards. Highland Home is 4-2 when Phillips posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 1-3 otherwise.

Meanwhile, Reeltown entered their game against Lee-Scott Academy on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Rebels fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 28-25. Despite 75 more yards than the Warriors, the Rebels couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Highland Home will have to contain Traylen Roberts as he made an impact in Reeltown's last game. He rushed for 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

The win got Highland Home back to even at 5-5. As for Reeltown, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

Highland Home came up short against Reeltown in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, falling 6-0. Can the Flying Squadron avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
