Volleyball Recap: Tyee Takes a Loss

Tyee was the 2-0 winner over Highline when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Titans' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Tyee wouldn't go down easily and took Highline into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking eight-point loss. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-17, 25-18, 20-25, 15-7.

Tyee's loss dropped their record down to 7-10-1. As for Highline, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-9.

Coming up, Tyee will venture away from home to take on Foster at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Highline, they will square off against Interlake at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
