Soccer Recap: Washington Catholic Comes Up Short

Washington Catholic lost against South Knox back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cardinals came up short against the Spartans, falling 5-0. Washington Catholic have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Washington Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for South Knox, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington Catholic will head out to face off against Eastern Greene at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Knox, they will venture away from home to challenge Pike Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pike Central's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
