Volleyball Recap: Cypress Lakes Comes Up Short

Cypress Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cypress Springs Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Cypress Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Cypress Springs, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 2-7.

Coming up, Cypress Lakes will head out to face off against Cypress Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cypress Springs, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Paetow at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
