Softball Recap: New London Wins Going Away Against South Central

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Monroeville, New London was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the South Central Trojans as they made off with a 13-6 victory. Considering the Wildcats have won 11 contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

New London's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for South Central, their record now sits at 8-16.

New London does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Central, they will take on Chippewa at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Chipps have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.11 runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
