Basketball Recap: Edisto Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Edisto challenged Allendale-Fairfax on Friday. The Edisto Cougars took a 36-18 bruising from the Allendale-Fairfax Tigers. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Edisto's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Allendale-Fairfax, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Edisto won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Hunter-Kinard-Tyler at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Allendale-Fairfax, they will face off against Ridgeland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Allendale-Fairfax is facing Ridgeland at the right time seeing as Ridgeland is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
