Basketball Recap: North Nodaway Comes Up Short

North Nodaway was the 38-35 winner over Mound City when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The North Nodaway Mustangs fell to the Mound City Panthers 51-45. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

North Nodaway's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Mound City, their victory bumped their record up to 9-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Nodaway will head out to challenge Union Star at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mound City, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Panthers take on the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Mound City is facing Worth County at the right time seeing as Worth County is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
