Baseball Recap: Arapahoe Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Arapahoe came out on top against ThunderRidge on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run sixth inning. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Grizzlies 6-4. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Arapahoe got a great performance from Aaron Stalter as he struck out nine batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Those nine strikeouts gave Stalter a new career-high.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Nate Brown, who went 3-for-4 with one home run. Carter Landen was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Arapahoe's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for ThunderRidge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Arapahoe wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 5-2 loss against Cherokee Trail on the 8th. As for ThunderRidge, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-5 defeat against Ralston Valley on the 8th.
