It's playoff time, and East Noble had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Fremont Eagles, posting a 40-6 win. The victory was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on five straight.
A big part of East Noble's win came down to the chemistry between Rian David and her top target Ellisyn Will. David threw for 266 yards and four TDs while completing 73.9% of her passes while Will picked up 128 receiving yards and three scores. Will really caught the secondary sleeping when she pulled down a catch that went for 74 yards.
One reason for the win was East Noble's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. In that department, Will was the leader with two. David got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
East Noble's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Fremont, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
Looking ahead, East Noble will challenge Penn at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Knights will need to watch out since the Kingsmen have now posted at least 31 points in their last six games. Fremont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
