Basketball Recap: Creekside Christian Academy Starts Season with Victory Against Konos Academy

Creekside Christian Academy took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They walked away with a 47-38 victory over the Konos Academy Condor. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Condor: they've now won seven in a row.

Leading Creekside Christian Academy to victory were Kassey Rossiter and Bralynn Roberson. Rossiter shot 62% from the field to rack up 17 points, while Roberson posted eight points in addition to nine rebounds and three steals. Those eight points gave Roberson a new career-high. Lauren Parker was another key player, putting up ten points.

Konos Academy is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Creekside Christian Academy and Konos Academy will both be playing New Creation Christian Academy the next time they take the court. The Condor will head out to face the Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
