Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Area Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Jefferson Area came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Lakeside Dragons 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-4, 25-19.

Brooklyn Hicks paced Jefferson Area's offense, picking up six kills. Hicks got some help from Cheyanne McGirr and her 15 assists. McGirr was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Jefferson Area's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Lakeside, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.

Jefferson Area wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against South on the 4th. As for Lakeside, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Varsity Opponent on the 6th.
