Soccer Recap: Renton Takes a Loss

The Renton Red Hawks lost 6-2 to the Bothell/Inglemoor Cougars on Monday. While losing is never fun, Renton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 220th, while Bothell/Inglemoor are ranked 57th).

This is the second loss in a row for Renton and nudges their season record down to 3-9-1. As for Bothell/Inglemoor, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Renton will host Cedarcrest at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bothell/Inglemoor, they will head out on the road to take on Issaquah at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
