Football Game Preview: Rapid City Christian Comets vs. Sioux Falls Christian Chargers

Rapid City Christian is 0-3 against Sioux Falls Christian since September of 2024 but things could change on Thursday. The Comets are taking a road trip to take on the Chargers at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Rapid City Christian comes in on four and Sioux Falls Christian on nine.

Rapid City Christian proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 31) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 21-20 win over Belle Fourche.

Meanwhile, Sioux Falls Christian blew past Dakota Valley, posting a 40-9 victory. Considering the Chargers have won eight contests by more than 23 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Rapid City Christian now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Sioux Falls Christian, their win bumped their record up to 9-0.

Rapid City Christian was dealt a bruising 48-21 defeat at the hands of Sioux Falls Christian in their previous matchup back in September. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Comets were down 48-7.
