Volleyball Recap: St. Joseph's Academy Takes a Loss

St. Joseph's Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Webster Groves Statesmen by a score of 2-1.

Despite the defeat, St. Joseph's Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lily Grothe had 14 digs and four assists.

St. Joseph's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 15-8-1. As for Webster Groves, their win bumped their record up to 9-11-1.

St. Joseph's Academy has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Incarnate Word Academy on the 29th. As for Webster Groves, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Jackson on the 27th.
