Softball Recap: Merrimack Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pinkerton, Merrimack was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the Keene Blackbirds get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Tomahawks in their matchups with the Blackbirds: they've now won five in a row.

The victory got Merrimack back to even at 4-4-1. As for Keene, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Merrimack will host Exeter at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Keene, they will be playing at home against Alvirne at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Blackbirds are facing the Broncos at the right time seeing as the Broncos are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
