It was a good run, but Crossland unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against the Oxon Hill Clippers, falling 54-33. The match marked the Cavaliers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Oxon Hill's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was William Johns, who posted 21 points. The contest was Johns' fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nigel Harris, who scored 16 points.

Crossland's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Oxon Hill, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crossland won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Parkdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
