Basketball Recap: Ignatius Beans Comes Up Short

Ignatius Beans was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Kotlik Falcons, falling 81-17. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Strivers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-20 last Wednesday.

Leading Kotlik to victory were Dylan Okitkun-Hunt and Marques Kameroff. Okitkun-Hunt posted 20 points, while Kameroff earned 21 points. Antwan Buster was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Ignatius Beans' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Kotlik, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Ignatius Beans wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 69-26 defeat against Scammon Bay on the 22nd. Kotlik has also already played their next game, a 65-52 loss against St. Mary's on the 22nd.
