Softball Game Preview: Beaverton Beavers vs. Harrison Hornets

The Beaverton Beavers are taking a road trip to square off against the Harrison Hornets at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Beaverton will be strutting in after a victory while Harrison will be coming in after a defeat.

On Monday, Beaverton needed a bit of extra time to put away Coleman. They walked away with a 12-7 win over the Comets. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Beavers as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Reese Mishler was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Bryar Pollard also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Beaverton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. They got six more hits than Coleman's also-impressive total of 11.

Meanwhile, Harrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Farwell, falling 16-6.

Harrison's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Beaverton, their record is now 5-17.
