Soccer Recap: Portage Falls to Valparaiso in First Game of Season

Portage kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Valparaiso Vikings, falling 8-1. Portage were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

The win got Valparaiso back to even at 1-1.

Portage didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against Andrean on the 21st. As for Valparaiso, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 4-3 loss against Penn on the 22nd.
