Soccer Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Miami Wardogs. The Braves were not able to make up for their loss to the Wardogs from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Miami, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Central will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Commerce at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. Miami will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Noble at 8:30 p.m. on March 27th.
