Softball Recap: Friday's Win Is Huntsville's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Huntsville saw some tournament action on Friday. Everything went their way against the Siegel Stars as they made off with a 10-4 win. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

Huntsville is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Siegel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6-1.

Huntsville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Coffee County Central on the 5th. As for Siegel, they will face off against Blackman at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Stars have won five straight at home, while the Blaze won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
