Soccer Game Preview: Carroll County vs. Radford

The Carroll County Cavaliers will head out to face off against the Radford Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Carroll County is headed into Monday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They fell 2-0 to James River on Friday. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Carroll County couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Radford fell victim to Blacksburg and their airtight defense last Friday. They lost 8-0 to the Bruins. Radford have struggled against Blacksburg recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Radford's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-2. As for Carroll County, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4-2.
