Basketball Recap: Manawa Comes Up Short

Manawa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 71-52 to the Shiocton Chiefs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-41 back in January.

Manawa's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Shiocton, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.

Coming up, Manawa will face off against Wittenberg-Birnamwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shiocton, they will challenge Valders at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
