On Wednesday Nate Colon didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. The effort marked the fewest hits Colon has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with more than five strikeouts. This year, he has an ERA of 3.23 over 26 innings pitched.
