Lake City found a leader in Madeline Peterson as the squad took down Sandpoint on Tuesday. The Bulldogs had no answer to Peterson as she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Peterson has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Peterson's strong effort led Lake City over Sandpoint and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
