Maddox Jones and Co. Win 18th in a Row

Maddox Jones was instrumental in extending Sumner-Eddyville-Miller's winning streak to 18 on Friday. Nobody could stop Jones as he rushed for 103 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries.

Unfortunately for Paxton, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Jones. Jones rushed for 142 yards and four touchdowns the last time he and the Tigers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Jacob Barber stepped things up a notch to give Southwest the 'W'. Barber was dynamite, rushing for 64 yards and three touchdowns, while also picking up 94 receiving yards.

For the season, Barber has averaged 33.8 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 5.67 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 77.5 rushing yards.

Jordan Scoville Dazzles in Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Win

Jordan Scoville's big game helped extend Sumner-Eddyville-Miller's winning streak to 18 on Friday. Nobody could stop Scoville as he rushed for 172 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 51 yards.

Scoville must have Paxton's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Scoville rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries the last time he and the Tigers duked it out back in October of 2023.
