Volleyball Recap: King's Christian Academy Takes a Loss

King's Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Lanham Christian Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 last Friday.

While King's Christian Academy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Lanham Christian's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-16, 25-20.

King's Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Lanham Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.

Coming up, King's Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Calverton at 5:30 p.m. As for Lanham Christian, they are taking a road trip to take on Takoma Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
